Is it a bird?….it is a plane?….no its CAPEX MAN! This was how a CEO introduced Jeremy to their annual global conference audience. An unusual approach but a clear message that an expert had joined to spearhead their investment programme, lower construction costs, and challenge the current status quo. Jeremy has taken on this and further challenging roles with relish, a natural disruptor, change agent and mentor.
As a strategic consultant, executive advisor and global construction development leader, Jeremy is an expert at diagnostic evaluations, leading complex programmes and implementing change.
Before starting Midmer Ltd in 2016, Jeremy completed successful roles as a client, franchisee, consultant and brand guardian across multiple sectors. He has managed the delivery of over 400 retail brands and in one role led the team to complete 1000 projects across 45 countries in 3 years. He was instrumental in designing, delivering and educating all European franchisees for Starbucks standard equipment procurement process, and for global retailer SSP designed and implemented a new IT solution to bring 8 territory teams together centralising data collection and gaining live programme information.
Jeremy has a unique breadth of experience; with a passion for streamlining processes, increasing sustainability, and a thirst for continuous improvement, all the while holding a customer centric approach at the forefront. He has successfully reduced construction costs between 10% and 30% and increased the speed of project delivery by an average of 18% for each client he has worked with.
Jeremy’s operational experience means he understands the challenges of delivering disruptive programmes within operational environments. Managing, influencing and getting the buy-in of stakeholders, balancing risks, and all within tight budgets, Jeremy builds, leads and empowers teams to achieve success.
With Midmer Ltd on the eve of its 7-year anniversary, Jeremy says “I love working with clients who work in partnership and value Team Midmer’s involvement. Our current clients across retail, logisitics, charity and public sectors see us as an extension of their teams, trusted advisors and agents that have their best interests in mind. I’m so looking forward to supporting other companies as we both improve and flourish. It’s going to be a great year.”
Jeremy’s other interests include keeping fit, drumming in 2 bands (if you are on the South Coast bring your dancing shoes) and trying to attain that perfect round of golf!
